Pros

That 200MP quad-cam setup with 5x zoom? Just bonkers. Like, you could zoom in on your neighbor’s cat from across the street and count the whiskers.

• The 6.9" AMOLED screen is stupidly gorgeous—seriously, it’s like holding a mini IMAX, and Gorilla Armor 2 means you won’t panic every time it slips off the couch.

• Snapdragon 8 Elite inside, flexing hard with an AnTuTu score over 2.2 million. This thing’s faster than your morning coffee rush.

• S Pen—still the productivity king. Doodle, scribble, annotate, and poke at your to-do list while pretending you’re a 21st-century Picasso.

Cons

No microSD slot. So, hope you don’t shoot 8K video non-stop, because storage is what it is.

• 45W charging is fine, but OnePlus 13 will laugh at you from the finish line.

• S Pen’s Bluetooth tricks? Gone. No more waving it around like a wizard’s wand.

Premium Build & S Pen:

Titanium frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, IP68—tough as nails. It’s heavy (218g) but fits the hand, thanks to those rounded corners. S Pen’s there for all your doodling and note-taking, just don’t expect the Bluetooth magic this year. Titanium Jadegreen? Fancy. Almost makes you forget the price.

2. That Display, Though:

6.9-inch AMOLED, Dynamic LTPO, QHD+, and a blinding 2600 nits. You want buttery-smooth 120Hz? You got it. Anti-reflective, so goodbye, annoying glare. Pro Scaler means your old YouTube videos don’t look like potato quality anymore.

3. Speed

Snapdragon 8 Elite (3nm), Adreno 830 GPU—this thing chews through apps and games. 40% bigger vapor chamber keeps it from melting when you push it. One UI 7.0 + Galaxy AI = life hacks everywhere. Seamless Actions, Now Brief, all that jazz.

4. Cameras

200MP wide, 50MP ultrawide, 10MP 3x tele, 50MP 5x periscope. It’s basically a DSLR with a SIM card. Shoots 8K video like it’s nothing. ProVisual Engine makes your dog’s Instagram look pro. 12MP selfie cam’s the same as before, but hey, if it ain’t broke...

5. Battery Life:

5000mAh. Lasts around 14 hours, which is solid. 45W wired gets you to 65% in half an hour, but let’s be real, some competitors are lapping it. Wireless and reverse charging are there if you need ’em, just don’t expect miracles.

If you’ve got deep pockets and want the absolute best camera and screen on a phone, the S25 Ultra’s a monster. It’s the phone to flex on iPhone 16 Pro Max and OnePlus 13 users—especially if you’re all about photos, notes, and shiny toys. But if you’re looking to save a few bucks, the S25 Plus does almost everything this beast does, minus a couple frills. Your call.

I've been driving the S25 Ultra for the past 72 hours and it's a much bigger update than I expected. Here's why: - best display on the market (anti-reflective coating wins every time) - better battery efficiency - much better cooling - improved speakers - been loving the new redesign, lighter and more ergonomic - ISP has been fixed for photos on all the lenses - ultrawide is much improved 12 MP to 50 MP - can shoot in 8K Log at 30 FPS - improved shutter lag - elite performance, multicore scores beat the iPhone 16 Pro -

Living with the S25 Ultra, 2 weeks early - here's how it's going so far: 🧵🤔⬇️ Pros: - Display, it's really nice - large, 6.9" - Anti-Reflective coating is beautiful - Better speakers - Love the new design - Good performance in-apps - New display-tech fixes inertia scrolling/ accidental - touch issues. - 50MP Ultrawide is quite good. - Samsung fixed low-light noise in images. - LOG (finally) is insane and really great to have. Cons: - Thermal performance is underwhelming/ I've noticed some throttling in more demanding titles. - "shutter-speed" is quick, (actually pressing the button) - but hard to capture motion indoors, without blur. - "Now Brief" has yet to do anything interesting, it's only showing me the wether, and giving me information on accidents, and deaths in Canada. "Good morning, have a good day" - "50 pound suitcase falls on child, killing them". Ugh. Not exactly how I want to wake up, thankfully you can disable news from showing in your feed. - Lastly, I think I am still looking for something compelling enough to "switch, or upgrade to" It feels like a refinement, which is great - but the last few years have been what I felt to be what a "refinement" was. //TL:DR Great phone, looking forward to using it more - some really impressive upgrades, but not a huge step-up from the S24 Ultra.

I’ve used a bunch of Android flagships this year, but I keep coming back to S25 Ultra. It’s been so reliable and consistent. The display is excellent, software too, tho the cameras aren’t the best, they still deliver great true to life images. There’s still room for improvement, especially in camera and battery, but overall I’ve really enjoyed my time using this phone.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S25 ULTRA: HIGHLIGHTS ✅️ Reasons to Get: • A breathtakingly stunning design that is more rounded, minimalistic, lighter, and feels solid to hold • A gorgeous anti-reflective display that is bright, vivid, and responsive • One UI 7 is the best smartphone OS/skin I’ve ever used. Beautiful, silky smooth, feature-rich, and reliable • Awesome performance with a very good overall heat management • Excellent overall audio quality, the best speakers I’ve heard on a smartphone • Super fast and reliable ultrasonic fingerprint scanner • Excellent haptics, very precise, powerful, and customisable in strength • Very good overall camera performance, powered by a versatile camera system that is mostly reliable, including the selfie camera and one of the best smartphone ultra-wide lenses out there 🚫 Reasons to Avoid: • Minimal change in camera system, almost a sidegrade • The 3x lens, while nice as an intermediary zoom level between the main and 5x lenses, has an extremely old sensor that ruins the low-light performance 📈 What to Improve: • Some photos and videos need to have more depth in the results. They can look so unnaturally flat sometimes • Battery life, while very good, is not as good as other phones with a larger Silicon Carbide battery. So it would be nice for them to finally adopt a newer technology • Video is still not the best in class. Far from the most noiseless and not the best in exposure & highlight control. I am almost 100% certain it is a processing problem rather than a sensor limitation

NEW VIDEO - Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Review ULTRA used to mean MAXED-OUT. This year they've skipped a silicon-carbide battery upgrade. And IP69. And Qi2 magnets. And a brighter display. Without all these things, the phone is still really good - but they've missed out on an opportunity to be the BEST. The door is open 👀 Full review:

Galaxy S25 Ultra is a battery king. I have had 4 hours of SOT, and near 50% battery remaining Keep in mind, this is the same phone people hated for being "only" 5,000 mAh, or not having silicon carbon, or similar obscure qualities as other phones. This phone is incredible.

Samsung S25 Ultra impressions after around a week is use: - I’m absolutely in love with the front of this phone. Rectangular display + small corners + anti-reflective glass = chef’s kiss. - It feels weirdly bulky and thick, however. It’s probably the fact that it has fully flat sides and a rectangular shape (small corner radius), which do shape it kinda like a brick. I believe S23U or S24U’s rounded sides would’ve complemented the form factor better. (To make it clear, I do love the small-corner shape from the front, it’s stunning. I just think they shouldn’t have paired it with fully flat sides) - I’ve never been a fan of Samsung’s camera processing — and it’s still the case here. I still notice the white haze and “flat” style in photos. My Vivo X100 Pro and previous phone 16 Pro Max are definitely a lot better for me. - This phone runs slightly warm all the time, even when I’m not doing anything intensive. It’s not hot, it’s just a bit warm. I’m not sure if it’s the phone or the chip. - One UI 7 is really nice. Hardly any bugs. And it’s smooth. Def better than One UI 6 for me and still my favorite Android skin. - Haptics are still meh. Very soft and not precise. - Speakers are still not nearly as good as the iPhone. They’re loud, but lack the depth and clarity. It’s one of the things I definitely do miss from my 16 Pro Max.
