The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G delivers a near-flagship experience at a more approachable price. After using this phone myself for a few weeks, I’ve found it strikes a perfect balance for those wanting solid performance without overpaying.
It's not trying to be the most advanced device out there, but it packs enough power, design, and features to satisfy most tech buffs.

Pros
Cons
1. Display
The 6.4-inch display on the S21 FE 5G feels great. I’ve used it for gaming, streaming, and daily scrolling, and the 120Hz refresh rate keeps everything smooth.
Colors are vibrant, and outdoor visibility is solid, thanks to the brightness levels. Whether it’s YouTube videos or catching up on social media, the screen delivers a crisp and fluid experience.
2. Performance
The Snapdragon 888 5G (or Exynos 2100) packs enough punch for multitasking and gaming. During my use, apps opened quickly, and I could switch between tasks without any noticeable lag.
It’s great for users who want reliable performance for everyday tasks. While it's not at the cutting edge in 2024, it’s still plenty fast for most users.
3. Camera
I’ve always enjoyed Samsung cameras, and the S21 FE 5G doesn’t disappoint. The triple camera system gives me options for wide shots, zooming in, and capturing ultrawide angles. The 12 MP main sensor captures clear photos in most lighting conditions.
While the 8 MP telephoto lens provides 3x optical zoom without losing detail. The 12 MP ultrawide lens is great for group shots or landscapes, and I found the 32 MP front camera perfect for sharp selfies.
4. Battery and Charging
The 4500 mAh battery comfortably lasted me a full day with moderate use, including some gaming, browsing, and streaming.
Fast charging with 25W wired charging meant I could juice up quickly when I needed to. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging add convenience.
5. Water Resistance
While I haven’t fully submerged the phone, the IP68 rating gives me peace of mind for those unexpected rainy days. Knowing it can handle dust and water without issue adds to the phone’s durability.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G offers a lot of what you’d expect from a flagship without the hefty price tag. Its display, performance, and camera system provide a great experience for users who don’t need the absolute best but still want solid performance.
After using it daily, I can tell you it’s a smart choice for anyone wanting premium features in a more affordable package. While it has a few trade-offs, like the lack of expandable storage and the plastic back, they’re not deal-breakers for most people.
