The Samsung Galaxy F06 5G, priced at ~?8,529 in India, aims to bring 5G to the ultra-budget segment in 2025. As a sibling to the M06 and A06, it likely prioritizes essentials like battery life and connectivity over premium features. With limited official specs, I’ll draw on Samsung’s F-series trends to evaluate its potential against rivals like the Realme Narzo 70 or Poco M7. Is it a budget hero?

That price, though—about for 5G? Wild. Absolute steal if you’re just trying to get in on the 5G hype without torching your wallet.
• Most leaks point to a chunky 5000mAh battery, so you probably won’t be hunting for a charger by dinner.
• Apparently, you can slap in a microSD card up to 1TB. That’s enough memes and bad selfies for a lifetime.
• If Samsung sticks to its usual update game (looking at you, M06/A06), you’re probably getting four years of OS updates. Not bad for a budget phone.
• Specs are all over the place—half of this is rumor mill fodder, so don’t get too attached.
• PLS LCD at 720p… eh. You’ll see pixels if you squint. Not the sharpest tool in the shed.
• That 15W charging? Slow. Like, go-make-coffee slow.
• Cameras are basic. Daytime pics? Okay. Night shots? Maybe don’t.
Minimalist Design
Plastic build for sure, and some splash resistance (IP53) so you won’t panic if you spill your chai. Lightweight at 190g, 8.2mm—easy to toss in a pocket, but don’t expect it to feel fancy. Colors should be decent—probably blue or green, because Samsung loves those on their budget models.
2. Basic Display
6.6-inch PLS LCD, 720 x 1600. Decent refresh rate at 90Hz, so scrolling won’t be a total drag, but don’t expect colors to pop like they do on AMOLED screens. Good enough for Instagram doomscrolling, less so for Netflix binges.
3. Entry-Level Cameras
48MP main, 2MP depth sensor. You’ll get “that’ll do” quality in daylight, but low light is gonna be rough. Selfie cam’s 8MP, so, yeah, it’ll get your face in the frame for video calls—don’t expect to go viral on TikTok with it.
4. Solid Battery Life
5000mAh should take you through the day, unless you’re doomscrolling nonstop. But charging at 15W—yikes. Go take a nap while it juices up. No wireless charging, but honestly, who expected that at this price?
5. Performance and Software
Rumor is it’ll rock a MediaTek Dimensity 6020. Basic stuff—messaging, light apps, maybe a game of Candy Crush if you’re feeling wild. One UI Core 7.0 on Android 15 probably, with those four years of updates if Samsung doesn’t change its mind. Just don’t expect to run Genshin Impact smoothly.
So, the Galaxy F06 5G is basically Samsung’s way of saying, “Hey, you want 5G on the cheap? Here you go.” You’re getting a fat battery, room for a ton of storage, and hopefully years of updates. The screen and camera cut corners, and the specs aren’t confirmed, so there’s a bit of a gamble. Compared to stuff like the Realme Narzo 70 or Poco M7, it might lag behind unless Samsung surprises us with some hidden tricks. If you’re desperate for affordable 5G and trust Samsung, this could be your new phone—just maybe wait for that official spec sheet before you throw money at it.

Galaxy F06 is also using One UI 7 before S24. yes but F06 run on OneUI core which is a ligther version of oneUI without Goodlock, DeX, galaxy AI and other stuff like that. Ultimate Samsung user facepalm moment. Pay us 120 dollars next year rather than paying 1200-2000 this year.
The ripple glow finish is everything! I am in love with the features especially the camera is really great. With dimensity 6300 chipset the gaming will be great.
@Flipkart My order (Samsung Galaxy F06 5G) was due 30th Sept. It’s been stuck at my hub since then, but still not delivered.Your bot says “delivery attempted” & rescheduled to 2nd Oct totally false. No call, no attempt, no consent from me.@flipkarts
Just bought Samsung Galaxy F06 5G for ₹11,617 during a Flipkart sale with credit card discount. Now, just a week later, it’s selling for ₹8,199 without any sale! How is this fair? Misleading .Contacted customer care but got no help. Feeling disappointed @Flipkart @SamsungIndia
Looks like a brilliant phone with a large 5000 mah battery, 12 5G bands , and the awesome One UI and a whole new camera module at the back. For a phone under ₹10,500, the Galaxy F06 5G offers solid specs. The mediatek chipset ensures smooth day-to-day performance, and the 5000mAh battery is a huge plus. It’s good to see budget phones getting reliable hardware that can handle both apps and light gaming without issues.
Samsung Launches budget Smartphone f06 with one UI 7. It's india exclusive only actually it's flipkart exclusive only.samsung sold m series on Amazon and f series on Flipkart in india. So like, how is this different from the A06 5G? They seem to be identical to me in every aspect, my guess is the F06's software is full of adds (from what I've heard on the net), but proce wise they seem to be similar too. (Positive on launch and software.)
Samsung is back again with a new addition - Samsung Galaxy FO 6 with finer features and at an affordable range. with exceptional features it's surely going to be a hit among the buyers! I see the Mediatek chipset is there too, so gaming will also be very good. For the price, the Galaxy F06 5G is impressive.
Yes, best phone under 10K for hellish lag, samsung's OneUI core edition is also heavy for a processor like dimensity 6300, I have seen the lag first hand a month ago in someone's phone and it reminded me of the trauma caused by J3 in 2016, never go for samsung under 20K.
