Pros
  • Vibrant AMOLED: 6.6" 120Hz display for immersive visuals.
  • Solid Performance: Suitable for daily tasks and light gaming.
  • Good Cameras: 50MP with OIS for decent photos.
  • IP67 Rating: Strong durability for a mid-range.
Cons
  • No wireless charging? Yeah, that’s a bummer.
  • Kinda wild how some mid-rangers are flexing with that now and Samsung’s just... not. Also, plastic build.
  • I mean, it’s not gonna shatter if you drop it, but still, it doesn’t exactly scream “premium,” does it?
  • Glass backs just look and feel fancier, no way around it.
  • Oh, and the camera at night? Meh. If you’re hoping for some artsy late-night shots, you might wanna temper those expectations.
  • And RIP to your wired headphones—the 3.5mm jack is gone, so it’s dongles or Bluetooth life for you.

Performance

Chugs along with either an Exynos 1380 or a Dimensity 6080. Handles daily stuff and some gaming, but let’s not kid ourselves: you won’t be running Genshin Impact on ultra settings. It’s smoother than the F16 5G, though, so you’re not getting a potato.

2. Camera

You get a 50MP main shooter with OIS—good daylight snaps, decent at night but not blowing minds. The ultrawide and macro? Pretty basic. 13MP selfie cam does the job for Instagram and the occasional thirst trap.

3. Design

Front’s glass, back and frame are plastic—comes in Black, Blue, and White. The vibe is modern mid-range: looks nice from a distance, doesn’t feel super expensive in the hand. AMOLED display definitely levels it up visually.

4. Durability

IP67 and Gorilla Glass 5—so it’s not as fragile as it looks. You can be a little clumsy and not panic.

5. Battery

5000mAh is solid. You’ll squeeze out a day, maybe more if you’re not glued to TikTok. Wired charging is quick—half full in half an hour—but, again, no wireless. Some will care, others won't.

The Galaxy A36 5G is a solid all-rounder for 2025. Flashy screen, reliable performance, and you can get it wet without freaking out. Plastic and no wireless charging are kinda lame, but honestly, unless you’re a snob about materials or desperately need to charge wirelessly, it’s not a deal-breaker. Honestly, I’d pick it over the Realme 14 Pro Lite just for that Samsung software and display. Not perfect, but dang, it’s a lot of phone for the price.
