Vivo T3 Ultra Key Features

1. Display

The 6.78-inch AMOLED display on the Vivo T3 Ultra is a treat for the eyes. With a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, it performs on par with more expensive devices like the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. 

The colors are vibrant, and the HDR10+ makes watching content a pleasure. It doesn’t just look good indoors – the 4500-nit peak brightness means even outdoor visibility is top-notch.

2. Performance

Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset packs a punch. It easily handles multitasking, gaming, and app switching. 

I tested the phone with heavy games and it didn’t break a sweat. In comparison to Google Pixel 7a, the T3 Ultra's performance holds up well for the price. The 8GB or 12GB RAM options ensure smooth operations, but with no expandable storage, choose wisely between the 128GB or 256GB models.

3. Camera Setup

The camera system is where the Vivo T3 Ultra punches above its weight. The 50 MP main camera with OIS takes sharp, clear photos even in low light. The 8 MP ultrawide lens adds versatility, though it’s not as powerful as the one I found on the Google Pixel 8. 

But where this phone stands out is the 50 MP front camera, perfect for selfies and video calls. It outshines competitors like the OnePlus Nord 3 in this regard, offering better detail and autofocus.

4. Battery Life and Charging

The 5500 mAh battery provides more than enough juice to get through a full day, even with heavy use. And when you need a recharge, the 80W fast charging gets it back to 100% in under an hour. 

Compared to the Samsung Galaxy A54’s slower charging, the T3 Ultra wins hands down in this area.

5. Design and Build

At just 7.6mm thick and 192g, the Vivo T3 Ultra is sleek and easy to handle. Its glass front and back offer a premium feel, and the IP68 rating means it can survive accidental drops in water or dust exposure. 

It comes in Lunar Gray and Frost Green, both offering a clean, modern look. 

While the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack may disappoint some, this seems to be the trend in mid-range and flagship phones alike.

6. Software

The phone runs Android 14 with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 14, offering a smooth and clutter-free experience. 

While I prefer stock Android, Funtouch is surprisingly polished and easy to navigate. You get a good mix of features without the bloatware that often plagues mid-range phones.
