Final Thoughts
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a fantastic choice for users who need a top-tier camera, fast performance, and excellent build quality. While the lack of Google Play Services may be an issue for some, its standout features, such as the incredible camera system, impressive battery life, and fast charging, make it a worthy flagship device.
The overall rating is based on reviews by our experts
This phone is really very powerful and provides all the features you need I have become dependent on it a lot, but now I got the latest update Emui, and it is really very bad for the camera, especially at night, I don't know what really happened, it's a nightmare, and this is not Huawei's habit. We hope they fix this malfunction.
I used some Huawei flagships like P20 pro , P40 pro and Mate 40 pro. I'm a Huawei fan from using time of P20 pro. That time it was the boss phone for Camera + Charging speed + Music Listing. Huawei best for music lover. Mate series is best of best. Specifically Mate 40 pro has an amazing design and super curve display. It looks so premium. Huawei mate 40 pro is best
Only if you can live without google services (in an official way) and are fine using APKs for most apps. The phones are great overall and the cameras are just the best. 100% would recommend
For design esthetic mate 30 pro very good for photography too but not good as 40 series. My prefered is Mate30Pro🔥🔥
I think Huawei is a much more polished product (hardware and software wise) than Xiaomi or even Honor. Their phones do feel more premium in use, and camera comparisons speak for themselves. I am still using my Mate 40 Pro and not complaininh about it at all even now. The one thing I would say, is that right now Huawei is a phone for tinkerers, so if you are able to live without Google, and are willing to play around and look for the apps (I have all the apps I used with Google natively on my Mate 40 Pro without Google services installed) through Apk Pure or Aurora Store i think its worth and fun to give it a chance
