The Samsung Galaxy A06 5G, launched in February 2025, aims to deliver 5G connectivity and reliable performance for budget buyers. With a 6.7-inch PLS LCD, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a 5000 mAh battery, it’s a close cousin to the M06 5G but with subtle differences. Can it outshine competitors like the Moto G55 or Redmi Note 14? Let’s break down its strengths and weaknesses.

. Practical Design
Looks a lot like the M06—same weight, same thickness, all plastic. At least it’s got IP54 for splash resistance, so you probably won’t kill it with a coffee spill. Colors like Light Green are a nice touch, but nah, you’re not fooling anyone into thinking this is a fancy phone.
2. Adequate Display
6.7 inches, 90Hz refresh, so scrolling feels zippy. But the 720 x 1600 resolution is meh—big screen, not-so-big sharpness. Gets bright enough outside (800 nits is fine), but AMOLED this is not.
3. Cameras
Main 50 MP shooter gets you nice daylight shots, nothing earth-shattering. 1080p/60fps video is a step up from last year’s model, so hey, your TikToks will look smoother. The 2 MP depth cam? Useless. Selfies at 8 MP—totally fine if you’re just messing around, forget about low light.
4. Battery Life
This thing’s a marathon runner. 5000 mAh will get you through a full day, 5G and all. Fast charging at 25W—halfway juiced in about 35 minutes, which is decent for the price. Wireless charging? Keep dreaming.
5. Performance & Software
MediaTek Dimensity 6300 means regular stuff runs fine, and you can play the occasional game if you keep your expectations in check. AnTuTu score’s around 422k—not bad, not amazing. Runs One UI 7.0 on Android 15, with four years of updates and Samsung Knox Vault for a bit of extra peace of mind. Way better than those stripped-down budget UIs.
